We bought this lock for our beach property so we don't have to give keys to use manually for anyone who uses it. I installed the lock in about 30 minutes (I'm slow) and it had 2 built in door codes. I tested them right away and they worked perfectly. Then I added a padlock to our Wink (v1) home automation. It took several tries and about 30 minutes. It hurt a bit, but now it works. It has been installed for about 3 months. Here's what we can do: 1. Open and close the lock from the Wink app on our phones2. Add and remove keycodes to Wink app with our iPhones. This can be done from anywhere. This is very important because we can create a temporary key for the HLK type and delete it when it leaves. Or create a weekly key for a relative or friend. Do you have a special key for the management company - you understand.3. Set up monitors in Wink so that we get pop-up notifications on our iPhones when a specific key is used.4. Schedule an automatic door lock at 9pm - just in case we forgot.5. Check battery life and pop-up alerts when battery is low. It worked very well. One day it disconnected from the wink hub and we had to go back and reconnect it. So a star deduction for that. It also automatically locks itself about 10 seconds after logging in. It's a bit annoying. But that gives us more security than issuing physical keys to people. They can be lost, stolen and copied.
