I have had a pair of these for two years and they have saved me from several serious incidents with my claustrophobic horse. Crowns are also easily replaced with old leather stirrups. I just cut the segment and punch holes if needed. The nylon and brass on the halter still look good clean, although the brass is understandably beginning to rust.
