This review is for the Hoya NXT Plus UV HMC 67mm thin frame multi-layer coated glass filter that I recently purchased. There are much cheaper filters out there. There are also more expensive filters. If you have a poor quality lens you might not want to spend that much on a UV filter, but you definitely don't want to put a cheap filter on a good piece of glass. I don't think I had a better UV filter. Filter, so I don't mind spending a little more for it. After using this new NXT Plus model for a while I was so impressed that I immediately bought another for a different lens. With this filter I saw no distortion or coloration and virtually no ghosting due to the multi-layer coating used. The waterproof top layer makes cleaning easier. I can only recommend these UV filters.
