Great quality filter for less than expected price

This review is for the Hoya NXT Plus UV HMC 67mm thin frame multi-layer coated glass filter that I recently purchased. There are much cheaper filters out there. There are also more expensive filters. If you have a poor quality lens you might not want to spend that much on a UV filter, but you definitely don't want to put a cheap filter on a good piece of glass. Better than a cheap UV filter

I've only recently discovered that my cheap (less than $10) UV filters can trap light from certain angles, which can cause flare in my images. I still support the idea of using a protective glass lens, so instead of leaving the lens open I decided to try the best user-recommended filter.
