I bought a Madetec Cool Mist humidifier for a recent trip. I find hotel rooms dry and have a cough. This humidifier fit comfortably in my suitcase and was easy to use; The cool mist started as soon as I plugged in the humidifier. As advertised, the fog lasted 8 hours and switched off automatically. It has helped relieve my dry throat and nose. I spent three nights out of three without a cough. When I got home I also found it fit nicely on my bedside table and I use it to humidify the dry air around the top of my bed. There is only one important point to note. This device will not humidify a large room. The small size makes it perfect for a bedside table, right where I wanted it. Overall, it's a nifty little device that's reasonably priced for its features.
