Review on Phanteks Mid Tower PH EC400ATG_BK01 Tempered Controller by Scott Clayton

Not a bad case. It's very easy to manage cables, lots of space, and to be honest I love its design. But that's the norm, nothing more, nothing less. Maybe the air quality has improved and I like the mesh grille in the front and the magnetic one on top, but other than that it's average. I had two problems with this case. One is just a small problem and the other is a pretty big one. The first issue is that the metal grille front panel is not fully attached so sometimes when your fans are running quite hard it rattles a bit which is very annoying. and it took me a while to figure out exactly what it was. But that's just a tiny problem that's fixed with a folded piece of paper, dab of epoxy, glue or whatever to bridge that gap. The second issue, which is a big one, is that the glass side panel exploded the last time I took it off. Time. I understand that this can happen, but the way it happened worries me. I've taken it off the case maybe 5 times since I've had the case, never had any problems and am always very careful with it in case it breaks. Well this time I loosened the screws and as soon as I touched it it just broke. My NZXT case with glass side panel, which I have had for much longer, had no problems at all and even fell off once. I had to buy replacements. that was about $50. Otherwise, everything is fine in this case.
