Review on ☕ Melitta Cone Coffee Filters, Natural Brown size 4, 100 Count (Pack Of 3) by John Caine

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It is worth buying just a coffee filter.

I'm very skeptical about my coffee. I don't like coffee shop brands, especially Starbucks. I find their coffee tastes burnt and almost not worth the price you pay. My best coffee is made at home. I don't use exotic methods, just a simple drip method. I use a Ninja drip coffee maker, which seems to maintain the proper brewing temperature around 202 degrees Fahrenheit. I only buy pre-roasted coffee beans and grind them for each serving. My coffee brand is Brazilian Yellow Bourbon, which I only buy from Blue Macaw Coffee Roasters in Brunswick, Georgia. They roast small batches and prepare your order every time. They don't roast large batches in advance. I use filtered tap water for brewing. But despite all of that, I've found that Melitta #4 unbleached filters are the only filters I'll be using for one important reason. I have used other brands of filters, both bleached and unbleached, which actually changed the taste of the coffee. Since I drink at least 2 cups of coffee a day, I immediately notice that something is wrong. Each pot prepared with Melitta filters tastes just like the previous pot. And the same flavor persists throughout my filter box. I can pick up a used filter and throw it in the trash without damaging it. And Melitta is consistently committed to using easily renewable raw materials (bamboo) to help with land use and climate problems. I can really say that I have found the perfect combination for the best coffee, including the Melitta filter. As with anything, if you change something, the overall result can be great. So why fix it if it ain't broke.
