Just wanted something that would help me keep my dignity and still keep me cool in our 95+ degree ridiculously humid weather in middle Georgia. This was it. The shorts are almost a mesh (but not see-through that I could tell) and VERY light. Not super compression-y so if that's what you are looking for, this might not work. But they are tight enough to not ride up and they are a very comfortable length. The skirt itself offers great coverage. I'm 5'6" and it hits me maybe just below mid thigh. Pockets on both legs of the shorts and a pocket in the front big enough for my huge phone! Ordering another one asap. (also I got a PR in that 5 miler in the picture. Not saying it makes you faster but it didn't hurt)
