This thing is really loud! I keep it quiet and it's still loud. My ears are ringing for an hour after hearing it. Works reliably. I placed it next to my keg which is hooked up to a water dispenser. I use it to fill liter jugs but sometimes I walk away while it's filling and forget about it. This alarm clock quickly reminded me of that! I find it too loud even at low frequencies so I either put it in a plastic bag or take the speaker myself. I did this with another one and it reduced the sound a lot but it was still audible. We don't need that much sound for my house layout, but everyone has different needs. I'm sure in a two story house at high volume maybe even at low volume it could easily be heard from another floor. Descent. The device is attached with double-sided tape, which is included in the kit. Great siren. I wish it had a third, even smaller volume, the only suggested improvement.
