It's not expensive and not that expensive when you look at many other options, but this little speaker is great value for money. I am pleased. I had to replace a small Bose speaker that I was using as computer speakers for a Mac Mini with an external monitor (Dell) that has no speakers. Sure, Bose sounded great, but I have two issues with this app. 1) it's very bass heavy and 2) it cuts out on time, and there have been a lot of longer zoom meetings where I thought someone had muted and it was my speaker that went out. That's why I bought this speaker. I wanted something that didn't time out and would do the basic job of computer speakers. My goal is not a great sound system in this app. I want a decent, non-tinny sound. I don't need a lot of bass, but I don't want it to be thin. This is a pearl of dynamism. It has the basic controls, works seamlessly with USB on my Mac (choose USB 2.0 speakers in audio output) and you're done. My Mac's volume controls control it just fine, and the volume up, down, and mute buttons on the speaker control the Mac just as well. (You can use either the Mac controls or those on the speaker - same result). It's a nice small size without sacrificing a tinny, cheesy sound. The sound shape is excellent and particularly good for the purpose I bought it for: a simple, decent sounding computer speaker that doesn't take up much space on my desk. I am very comfortable.
