Ideal for scratching and sampling. I don't think they are made anymore so I grabbed a second one before they all went away. Love the ISP bug logo and smack on the cartridge holder. They are great for scratching, you have to make your adjustments directly on the tonearm. They slip on me sometimes, but I'm clumsy. The sound will be quite loud, which can be a downside for some people, but I think these needles sound really good with Traktor Control Vinyl. I recently used these and a Traktor Pro3 and sounded pretty good on some of the 12 inch electric voice speakers. I used to have an Ortofon Pro S which is really good and not known for high volume but for smaller gigs it's good to have an extra output from your pen. but works fine once you have it set up. In any case, I usually edit my samples before using them.
