these are cozy and warm and thick on your feet. They keep your feet warm and the silicon nubs at the bottom keep you from sliding on the hardwood floors. These socks, however, are not meant to be worn with shoes or boots, they are very thick. Nice for lounging around the house though. Very happy with them.
