I think I did something right, try it first, imagine it works, there are no leaks, none at all, I put it on hot water for the washing machine in the laundry room, I'd rather the cold water inlet, but it's just something like how everything is arranged, even upside down. It says my water pressure (municipal) is 70psi, that seems correct, I didn't realize until I installed it that the pressure gauge can be rotated even after the GHT ring is tightened, isn't that handy? If anyone is interested, I wrapped the threads in teflon tape (4 turns) and smeared a light coat of Danco silicone sanitary grease onto the rubber washers, finger tightened, then gave the GHT rings an extra ยผ turn each with a little channel blocking. ------- to edit. oh look sometime in the last few days my water pressure has gone up to 90psi, that's what the red arrow shows, i'm wondering what time of day or night it happened, isn't that interesting?
