Beautiful wok on dishes

This wok is very beautiful. I like his hand hunt. I wish I had a place to keep it on display in my kitchen. Very well done. I feel like it can be passed from generation to generation. I've been using this wok at least 2-3 times a week for almost a year now. You need to season it when you receive it and continue to care for it like cast iron. I highly recommend using linseed oil as a condiment and doing this at least 3 times before first use. I think I did my 5 times just to be sure. I also use flax for my cast iron and have found this to be the only thing that works for me in the long run. I've never used lard like some people suggest because I'm vegan, but that might work as well. When first seasoning, be sure to use things like garlic, scallions, and ginger, as this will help add flavor to the wok. It's a bit heavy, but the handle makes it easy to move. Big enough to cook a large roast but not too big to cook a dinner for 1 or 2. I don't use a ring with mine. It wobbles a little on our gas stove, but without the ring it works perfectly. I am attaching photos of the start of the seasoning process right after seasoning and how it looks now almost a year later. I seasoned mine in the garage with a propane tank stand and it worked really well.
