Filling the mess. I thought I'm doing it wrong because it's not possible and it takes forever to fill! If you follow the instructions for filling with butane, you're really going to make a mess (it says here that you have to press hard/intermittently). This is a beautiful lantern, heavy in hand and easy to use once lit. But getting the fuel in is an exercise in patience. I turned to a professional (cigar smoker :)) for help as they had much more experience refilling these burners but they had more problems than me. This is my first torch - I made crème brûlée with it. I'm considering returning it as I'm not sure if it's worth the refill I have to do twice while smearing the cream.
