Review on MAXRIENY Multimeter Rechargeable Auto Ranging Capacitance by Andrew Pickering

Nice little PTO, easy to use and compact. It fits easily in a jacket pocket or even in the front pocket of a shirt. It comes with everything you need, a set of probes with protective tip caps, a meter, a charging cable and a zippered semi-hard case. Batteries are not required as it charges from any USB port. Auto Range, the auto feature is way better than I expected. The instrument automatically recognizes the function you are measuring (AC volts, DC volts, resistance or continuity), then switches to that measurement mode and displays all measurements without user intervention. This saves time and helps to avoid mistakes. For example, the other day I was working on my oven and trying to measure the control voltage on a pressure switch. I thought it was 24 volts DC and when I set my meter to DC I got no voltage. Turns out it's 24 volts AC. This meter would detect AC voltage and immediately tell me I had power. As with my old Fluke, it took me a few extra minutes to realize I was trying to measure the wrong thing and not making a mistake. the display is difficult to read. All in all a great little VOM meter with some features that I will never use but they are there. It is easy to use and has a handy automatic function. I would buy again.
