Washing the area under the bridge was the main reason for the purchase. Flosser arrived yesterday. Unpacked, read the instructions and connected to the charger. Yes, it took 3-5 hours the first time. Used this morning. I originally wanted to buy a Sonic Fusion brush with built in floss but am not willing to spend more than $150 as I have no experience with water flossing. I was also concerned that I might tolerate the temperature of the tap water in my sensitive areas. It should be noted that my mouth actually feels cleaner - temperatures are tolerable and I can always heat water for a tank in the winter - be prepared for water splashing everywhere. until you get used to the handling - during cleaning you will have to refill the tank several times. The higher the setting, the sooner you need to refill - after flossing, empty the reservoir and wipe down - do not close the reservoir after emptying. This allows the air to circulate and prevents mold from forming. - Bought in Prime and I have up to 90 days to return it - I had some bleeding but I put this down to not doing a good job with the gums before. Period and that my fingers slipped several times and increased the water pressure to the point where it was painful - I still used my interdental brushes for the extra brushing and brushing - bit of a hassle as there is a reservoir attached to it and some of it lasts time accustomed to handling. Pros - It's fairly intuitive: Easy to assemble and use - Comes with a variety of tips - Fairly cheap and 20% off coupon - Very powerful; I only use it on the lowest setting for cleaning under the gumline and can only tolerate the next higher setting for cleaning between my teeth. - a great addition to my oral hygiene. That's pretty intuitive. except that no water entered through the tip of the floss. I primed as I read in the instructions. Nothing. Looking closely at the top, I found that the bottom was covered with a very thin plastic membrane. It would be helpful to know this. I'm glad it didn't come loose and get stuck in the hole when I put it in. - I wish the charging port and cable were USB Type-C. Now I have another cable to keep an eye on. - not so portable as it is not a travel case. When you pack it, be sure to use a large bubble envelope so the tank doesn't tear and you don't lose/break the tips.
