I almost had a BAD crash when my son and his Xbox power adapter broke. Luckily it was late evening so the next day I started asking for a replacement. I have revisited several at a much higher price but kept coming back to this item. The only thing is that the device must be plugged directly into an outlet. It turns off when plugged into a surge protector.
