To be honest there's not much this stereo can do for the price and it's too difficult trying to get it working with everything. Should have gone with another brand as Kenwood seems to be the hardest for things like steering wheel controls. I have aftermarket controls that work great without any additional confusing details or puzzles to solve. Works great with the cheapest touchscreen radio Revain sells, but good luck getting them to work on this thing. I spent over an hour trying to figure out how to do this but couldn't. This stereo doesn't have most of the options that other Kenwoods have, but the description doesn't tell that. The sound quality over the USB connection is also bad for me personally. So the fact that I use Apple Music means I either have crappy sound and CarPlay, or just use Bluetooth and have good sound, but I can't use any other features that perform in this price range that are worth buying. I know it's not the best model, which by the way costs more than the most expensive complete system I've ever built, but that doesn't mean that most of its features can be basically useless. If only the top of the range can actually do what they claim to do in the real world, then that's about all they have to offer. If you want to get money from the less fortunate who can't afford it, at least don't promise things that aren't really possible. Now I'm stuck with a $300 stereo that doesn't do what I need it to do at all. Otherwise, the user interface leaves a lot to be desired, especially the volume buttons on the front. Hard to hit while driving and pretty damn near impossible if you want to drive safe and keep your eyes on the road. Forget about fast shutdown if you ever need it. The cheapest stereo of this style on the Revain had only one problem: the songs on my Apple Music would randomly start up while the song was playing. Disappointed I chose this stereo and regret not having returned it. Just my five cents. I have years of experience with car radios and building systems, personally I would go for a higher price or a different brand.
