Review on HiQuick 9V Rechargeable Batteries: 4 Pack, High Capacity 280mAh Ni-MH, Low Self-Discharge for Smoke Alarm Detectors by Dan Santos

Item received and immediately tested for voltage on all four batteries. They were all below 9 volts and needed charging. I put all the batteries in the charger and plugged the included USB cable into a USB port on the wall. The charger showed that all were <2 bar and charged. I left them alone for over an hour and checked the charger again. 2 were filled and 2 were still at 2 bar. I took everything apart and checked for voltage. 2 that read full was 9.8 volts. 2 showing 2 bars were measured at 11.2 volts and were hot. I stopped using the ports charging the batteries. Buy this item at your own risk. TLDR: The batteries are fine, but the charger nearly started a fire.
