Either change the model or it was defective but didn't fit. It just came off a little and bam, the lid wouldn't close. I was quite annoyed because I needed a new filter, plus it took a very long time to get here. Others of mine have a felt strip at the bottom and it's flat, it's a different design, I don't know why they wrote it fits my model # it doesn't. I've had some bad luck with articles on Revain lately. Either I love it or I hate it, it has to fit. First class customer service is superior to all others.
