First of all, the cord on the filament is green, not white. Secondly, since the female and male sides of the fork are on the same end of the light thread, you can only join two strands together. I ended up removing the starfish baubles and hanging them on white strings of Christmas lights I had on hand that could be connected together. A lot of work went into getting the end product I wanted which should cover about 60 feet with 6 sets of these lights. So I ended up spending over $60 just with plastic starfish caps. I throw 10 green light strands that can't be connected more than 2 together.
