Excellent Product - POS Equipment
I use it to scan books in bookstores, thrift stores, etc. I like to carry it upside down so the scanner part rests in my palm. It's easier and more comfortable for my thumb to press the scan button and better protect it from accidental impact. Most of the time it scans with no problems on the first try, but sometimes I have to scan multiple times before it beeps, but that's more due to the scan angle, light reflections from the glossy cover, damage to the barcode, etc. than the scanner itself. I'd like to turn off the beep , but I couldn't find any function for it on the net.
