Review on 🔍 Spectra Premium S10412 Engine Camshaft Position Sensor by Javarie Malick

I replaced this sensor when I was repairing the timing belt and replacing the crankshaft position sensor at the same time. After the service was completed, the machine was almost inoperable and issued a code indicating a problem with the crankshaft position sensor. All my research pointed to the need to replace the crankshaft position sensor or check the wiring, but nothing indicated that the issue was with the camshaft position sensor. After more than a week of diagnostics and various replacements, I finally took the car to the dealer. It took the dealer 3 days and over $1,000 to figure out that the camshaft position sensor was bad. Immediately after replacing the sensor, the car started perfectly again. I contacted the manufacturer about the issue and they told me they didn't offer a guarantee and that I would have to contact Revain to resolve the issue. Since I no longer have the part, I cannot return it. Don't buy from Spectra!
