Hello Reviewer, I bought a set of these solar panels for solar lights which I have all over the garden to avoid tripping and damaging outside decorations. Light blocks last around 8-14 months but the batteries will no longer hold a charge. I've tried buying rechargeable batteries ($2 per battery) at local hardware stores, but they add compensation to them for profit so it would be cheaper to turn off the lights and then buy new ones. Buying these batteries online ($1.25 per battery) saves you some money and the light blocks can be used for a longer period of time.
