When I first touched the leather, I was amazed how supple and soft it was. Then I tried it on and I was again floored by the comfort. The elastic band is great for narrow calves and it makes your outfit look streamlined, not bulky. For reference I am 5'3" 105lb with size 6W. The boots fit very well with ample room for more socks if needed. The shaft comes at my knees which is what I preferred. I've been wearing this for 1 month on and off and I have never gotten sore feet from it even after 5 hours of shopping. The leather is gorgeous, the fit is to a T, and overall the wear is going to be for a lifetime.
