First of all, I don't write reviews often and I haven't received a penny for it. But based on my experience, I wanted to share them. I bought this unit as I hadn't heard of this brand before and having just installed a brand head unit in our other car (everything ran 'ok' but I had to make all the wire connections and wasn't hooked up to everything and it Took over $200 for extra wiring and "boxes" to hold the steering wheel control vents, top shelf, brackets, and then the wiring. It was literally "plug and play". Granted, there was a ton of cables but they actually only connected to one option. In fact replacing the vents etc took longer than the 'cable'. Then I took it to the 2015 4Runner and powered it on. And everything worked. I had to 2 swapping yellow RCA plugs (there are 2 and i guessed which one was the first time) when the rear camera showed up as a yellow exclamation mark icon, after i swapped it out it worked perfectly, and, like e as another reviewer wrote, it pops up immediately when reversing. The steering wheel controls work great, as does the stock head unit, with no programming or anything extra. I still have to learn all the settings, but it's basically an Android tablet. I noticed that Android Auto connects via Bluetooth even without a USB connection. So almost wireless. Again, I didn't get anything for this review, but so far based on the install and initial setup, definitely check these out first if you're swapping out your main unit!
