Review on 💧 Waterspecialist RF 9999 Filter Compatible Replacement Filtration: Enhanced Water Filtration Solution by Rene Putman

The package we received was unstained and neither was the product itself. The filter I opened looked scratched and dirty as if it had been used before. There were no instructions anywhere but I assumed the filter should be rinsed for 5 minutes before use like any other product. I tasted the water after 5 minutes and it tasted bad especially in my throat. After a few minutes my throat swelled up and felt numb. I also started getting severe headaches. I have no way of confirming that I received a legitimate product that has been tested for safety. In my experience, these filters are not safe to use. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. To be honest I don't understand why it has such a high rating when consumers have no idea what these filters actually contain.
