I ordered a small/medium size because I have small calves and was concerned that this size might be too big. To my surprise they are quite tight. A little difficult to put on and take off due to the legs, but detachable. More importantly, they fit snugly around the calves for good compression. I believe the product description says 23% spandex, but the packaging says it's 20% spandex. I was looking for calf sleeves with a higher percentage of spandex as they usually work best with calf sleeves. This brand still does.
