This guitar toy has been my three budgies' favorite toy for almost a year. I bought this as a replacement: the one we got as a gift broke due to over tightening. Well worth buying a replacement: The bells only recently started to rust after being soaked in water for an hour a week for 10 months. . Water drains well from this toy, so I'm not worried about putting it in a warm, soapy bath and getting rusty or moldy on the inside. Everyone likes to hang on the edge of a cage and tune their guitar heads for a good 15 minutes a day. The male loves to groom his reflection in the central mirror, and all three snap their bells. One of the females will "tune" it with her beak for 30 minutes, we joke that she's preparing to play "Free Bird," an expanded version. Now that I've received this replacement, I'm going to buy another one as a backup. just in case I overdo it again (and I overdid it when I broke the last one). They are spoiled with a variety of stimuli and objects to interact with and I never expected this toy, which was originally a gift, to become a favorite.
