Review on Pavilion TG01 Professional Computer Made_By_HP Computers & Tablets for Desktops by Brian Olson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

(A300W) Great little PC!

You can't get any smaller with a fully-fledged desktop PC, that's it! It fits EVERYWHERE. Supports up to 4 drives. My Hardware: R5 3400g, 16GB Hynix RAM, Intel 660p 512GB SSD. The case has many holes for good airflow and my entire system NEVER reaches 75ยฐC๐Ÿ‘ The included fan is quiet, I got the Noctua NH-L9a but that wasn't really necessary in the end. Now my Asus Tower GT501 has been standing still for almost a year due to a defect and this little thing does its job perfectly. I use it for TV streaming, 1080p, 2.7k and 4k video editing and light gaming. Think of its tiny size and 12nm production: Forza 4 60fps at 900p High Definition, GTA 5 60fps at 1080p High Definition, Snowrunner Medium 1080p at 35-45fps stable etc. Games are not a problem as long as your expectations stay within limits The little box helped me the slowest 365 days last year! I originally had a barebone but it was DOA so I didn't work with that CUK but it got hot (85C) IMO and the wifi antenna cables ran under the heatsink so I decided to go with another barebone instead of A300W and returned CUK. Finished mine with a WD Blue 500GB M2. and Blue 1TB 2.5" SSDs, 32GB Micron Crucial Ballistix 3200MHz RAM and again the Ryzen 5 3400g (great APU) and now it's a super versatile computer that's ready for (almost) anything. I really want to see if my old A300W works with an 8 core Ryzen 7 4750g or a future Ryzen 7 5700g I found a 3.60O BIOS to unlock Renoir support so this is my next mission with it๐ŸคžThis is the best SFF available PC In the market, I don't miss these 5-star build EATX towers !PS The new X300W case seems to have fewer airflow holes.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Without automatic control
