Not as advertised and it stopped working after 1 month.

I ordered this adapter on September 22, 2018. He died today October 24th 2018. Connection issue and I blamed it on my HDMI cable. Then I bought another one and still had the same problems. Now it doesn't work at all on my external monitor! I decided to go this route instead of buying a real displayport cable, but I see I need to do it. I would not recommend this product at all.
