Can confirm - works with Surface Dock Gen 1 and specific cable

Just came here to post that I took a chance on this monitor and it gave me all the HD shine on my Surface Pro 7 Gen 1 doc /product/B00S0BWR2K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc =1 I did NOT get Full HD with the original Mini DP to HDMI cable I had for my old monitors, but the order worked. The monitor is fantastic. I don't play with it, but I was able to insert FIVE Word documents side by side while checking each for similarities etc. I love this monitor, it looks great and is a great replacement for my two monitors in my parking lot. desktop.
