I admit that using these gloves is not the norm! These are my summer barn gloves and I can't say enough good things about them. I used to not wear gloves when working in the barn when it got warmer. I got them on a whim when my ski gloves had too many holes to fix in the spring. I never stopped wearing them! Now I wear them to: mow the grass, empty hay nets (I put the round bales out on my pastures), feed the horses, pull weeds and even soak dry dog food! Before trying these gloves because I portion feed my dogs in bowls from a gallon milk jug, I always had some residue under my nails and my hands were greasy. No longer! I put these babies on and the problem is solved. I can hand wash them in the sink or throw them in regular laundry. I wear them every day and use them extensively and still not a single hole! My only caveat: they're not white anymore, but I don't care! They're worth a million bucks for my money!
