They worked best in an amp setup
I put them on my phone charger cable and headphone cable to use my phone as GPS and music on my bike. I had a lot of noise from the alternator and ignition system from my cellphone through my helmet speakers, which I assumed was coming from the phone's USB charging cable. I plugged 2 of these into each USB charging cable and headphone cable and it got rid of probably 75% of the noise. Wide range of sizes, they fit snug and don't move.
