Review on Enhanced Safety with COOPER WIRING 3Wire Duplex Recpt: A Reliable Power Solution by Ans Brownlee

This surface mount outlet is well made, easy to connect and works well for my application. I wanted to install an outlet in the bathroom closet to provide a more convenient power source for a couple of electric toothbrush chargers. I attached the base of this outlet to a small block of wood and used a few pan head screws to attach the block to the underside of a plastic shelf in the closet, just above the two toothbrush chargers. I cut and stripped three wires in the extension cord and attached the stripped ends of the wires to the screws in this outlet. (I identified and labeled the hot wire before cutting the cord.) The cord goes through a hole in the side of the first aid kit and the molded plug end of the extension plugs into a wall outlet just below the closet. .
