We bought this mount for a 42 inch TV. My husband and I just installed the mount following the instructions (after figuring out how to connect the mounting plate by hand, which the instructions don't specify). Great that the base of the mount is vertical and we were able to securely attach it directly to the stud. The shelf was super easy to assemble and also very stable. Perfect size for a Blu-ray player. Bonus: The package included an HDMI cable, zip ties, a screen cleaner, and a cloth — everything you'll likely need, but you usually don't notice until after the mount is in place. . You have thought of everything! All in all, this was a great purchase. Now I need one for each of my TVs.
