These doorstops are of high quality and appear to be very strong. I bought these to replace our old faded warped doorstops. The old doorstops had a middle screw and you screwed the entire doorstop into the door. Over time, several doorstops broke so that they could no longer be unscrewed; They simply revolved around a central screw. I had to pry them open a bit and use needle nose pliers to twist the exposed shaft portion of the center screw to remove them. These new doorstops screw onto a separate center screw mount. So if I ever need to replace them I can just remove the doorstop and replace, or if that's not possible I can just remove the bracket and start over. .
