KOVOSCH Brushed Nickel Flexible Stopper Review

I just installed this doorstop. I'm not a carpenter and I don't have any special skills, but I could do it. It was easy to unscrew from the base and reattach (if you've ever taken your key out of a key fob, you should be able to).

This will prevent your door from hitting the wall. Works every time. It also makes a funny noise when you kick it with your foot. If you are clumsy or have large feet that take on a life of their own, this product may not be for you. Now that I think about it, you can put it up instead of put it down. Unless you are super tall.

I would say for the price. this product is exactly what i expected. Nothing bad to say. Contains two screws and two springs. So I'm definitely confused by other people's comments about the lack of instructions. Because the nature of the product speaks for itself, haha. So in my opinion this product is good.

A simple product that saves you money on repairs by protecting your walls from door smashes. Simple and easy to install and they do exactly what they were designed to do. They attach to the mop with a single screw and prevent the door from banging against the wall if the door is opened too far.

The illustrations show that the screw is attached to the doorstop. I just wanted to replace one doorstop with another. Instead it seems necessary to remove the bottom plate from the spring and screw it to the wall. I spent about an hour trying to disconnect the base from the source but to no avail. Why isn't the screw installed yet so I can just swap out one product for another? So frustrating!

No assembly instructions but visually it is easy to understand how to assemble the doorstop. The spring was a little tight and wouldn't unwind from the plate, I used a dull knife and pushed out the spring wire (from the back of the plate by unscrewing the spring) and it came loose easily. On the other door, the spring stopper came off easily. The stopper flexes easily, so it should be installed where the door lands, just above the rubber tip.

These doorstops are of high quality and appear to be very strong. I bought these to replace our old faded warped doorstops. The old doorstops had a middle screw and you screwed the entire doorstop into the door. Over time, several doorstops broke so that they could no longer be unscrewed; They simply revolved around a central screw.
