This appears to be a direct copy of the Canon 2.0x III Extender which costs 2.5 times as much. I've compared this to the Kenko 2x Pro 300 teleconverter (which is one of the best) and by comparison it has better edge sharpness and much reduced chromatic aberration. In fact, it eliminates the CA at the edge of the frame that you get with most teleconverters. I can't say for sure that it's as good as the original Canon version, but it's pretty damn good. If I ever get my hands on a Canon I'll update my review but see no reason to - this TC is that good. Like the Canon Extender 2.0x III, this lens is only compatible with longer Canon L lenses (from 135mm). You can't use it with 100mm 2.8 Makro L, for example. This is due to the protruding optics that only allow you to mount it on longer L lenses. Keep an eye on this company, they have a range of compatible lighting accessories with Canon and even direct copy Canon 50mm. f/1.8. Note. Some inexpensive cameras will only focus on f/2.8 lenses or higher, but the Canon 5D Mark III will focus on f/4 lenses, but not always reliably.
