This is a sturdy little device made of stainless steel, it's all about a light touch. But more importantly, how good is the coffee produced? Unfortunately, there's too much wiggle room for lateral behavior if you want to get acceptable results. Coffee refined to the consistency of body powder won't work as well as you'd like, on the contrary it clogs the work: you have to dance the dance the pour-over device gives you, not your own invention. An espresso grind or a Turkish (aaah!) grind will not work. Also consider time, temperature and pouring speed. There is a kind of Tao in all of this. So see instructions.
