I got this helmet for my husband. Here is his review:I got this helmet when I started biking to work as an alternative to the helmet I wear for mountain biking, which is subject to a LOT of sweat and dirt.This helmet has been great for this purpose. It fits snugly with the adjustment dial on the back, but at the same time feels a little roomier on the inside than my MTB helmet. The result is that, when I show up at the office, my short hair is not sticking up at crazy angles like a clown.The helmet is well ventilated and the pads are easy to remove and put back in for washing. Although, I have been commuting four days a week, 10 miles each way, for six weeks now, and there is not the slightest bit of odor on the inside of this helmet.On a few occasions on my way home in the evenings, insects have flown into and gotten stuck in the forward-facing vents on this helmet. This has been unpleasant. But can't say that it has anything to do with the helmet's design, as opposed to the location and time of day that I'm riding.I can't speak to this helmet's performance in a crash.
