I've cooked with cast iron all my life but I've never held these pans in my hands! I'm in love! First, it is much lighter than my CI pans. It's much better for my arthritic hands. It was very flavorful straight out of the box so I could start baking cookies right away. It's so easy to clean. I just rinse it off with hot water, then gently clean it with a chain scraper and dry it very well with a paper towel. I have a glass hob and it works great on it. This is my new favorite kitchen tool. By the way, DO NOT put in the dishwasher or leave with food or water. Don't put it in the fridge with food. this is iron It will rust. Dry it completely when washing. Then rub with some oil. It will serve you and your descendants for a lifetime. Update: I haven't changed my mind after a few weeks of using this pan. It is an essential item in the kitchen and is always on my stovetop. It's so perfect for a quick breakfast for my husband. This morning there were leftover smoked sausage, onions and peppers, scrambled eggs and fried biscuits. all cooked in my handy skillet. This is the most comfortable thing I've bought in a long time.
