I should have posted a before-pic (another reviewer did so), but this organizer completely cleaned up my bathroom vanity area -- Nearly everything on my bathroom vanity is now in this caddy, so it makes all the items portable, the overall countertop is MUCH easier to clean, and generally, my bathroom looks more refreshing.A few of the drawbacks (though these are fixable, somewhat minor inconveniences): • The item smelled a bit right out of the packaging box. It's one of those chemical-like smells you notice on new items (or in new cars.though I sort of like the new-car-smell), but after spraying and wiping it down for a minute or so, it seems to have dissipated. • The instructions are a bit underwhelming (there was another reviewer who also mentioned this). Basically, the instructions are missing a few of the pieces that were actually in the package. Additionally, I wish the first step was prefaced with using the provided orange tool (it's a tool used to help fasten the corner poles, but the instructions listed it in the last step, rather than the first). In my haste, I just forcibly pushed in the poles with my palms. Luckily, the entire unit still feels very sturdy, and I wouldn't be too worried about picking it up by the handles (though I still probably won't overload it). • The overall aesthetic is a bit too economical-looking. The entire caddy is made out of plastic, which makes it functional/easy to clean, but it's not particularly elegant.But again, this item does what it was designed for. There are many hooks, dividers, compartments, and most are customizable, so you can create your desired organizer.
