Commonly found in health food stores or GNCs, these small brown essential oil bottles are designed to protect the oils from oxidation and spoilage. The same goes for beer, so quality beer doesn't come in a transparent bottle. So I don't understand why this brand of beard oil comes in a clear bottle. However, that didn't stop me from buying it. I was fascinated. It may be cheaper to buy them clear than brown in bulk. I wonder if I have old beard oil. The reason I mention this is that this particular bottle I purchased has almost no odor, or maybe even a very faint odor that is barely noticeable or felt on the palm of your hand. This was the main reason I made this particular purchase. A fragrance to admire. Maybe it was just hype? I just put the bottle in my bag to protect it from the light coming through the bathroom skylight. I don't know how the folks at Revain store this product (in an opaque bag away from heat sources), or how long it will stay on the shelf before being recalled, or why it doesn't have a production date or 'best quality' on it . "Use By Date". I feel like I'm not getting any answers. Again, maybe the mistake was that I went through Revain and not straight to the Detroit Grooming source. Not particularly impressed with this deal.
