I bought this drive for my Macbook Air (Early 2015) with OS X 10.13 (High Sierra). The problem I faced was the migration procedure. Although High Sierra is the latest version of OS X, the official installation video provided is not enough to go through the upgrade process. First, I create a Time Machine backup from an existing drive to another hard drive. Second, I plug in the JetDrive 855. , format it using "Disk Utility" in OS X. Don't forget to partition and format the drive as "APFS"! If you cannot format as APFS, you cannot proceed with the upgrade process. This can be done by expanding the list of disk volumes. At the top level of the JetDrive 855 you will see the option "Format as APFS". When everything is done, turn off the computer and swap drives. Start the computer, connect the hard drive to the TimeMachine backup, select the image to restore. After a few reboots, the update is complete.
