These straws are great! They're certainly better for the environment than plastic straws, but they're also better than other alternatives I've tried. They don't have the harsh cold of metal straws, they don't rattle against your teeth like metal straws, they're surprisingly light and won't fall apart like paper straws. The texture of the bamboo is smooth and doesn't feel weird on my lips like paper straws (anyone else think paper straws feel weird? haha). These straws also don't taste like some of the other plastic straws I've tried. I've been using these bamboo straws every day for several weeks and have nothing but good things to say about them. And as if that weren't enough, they also look great in drinks like the mojito I made! This is a truly wonderful item and a one-of-a-kind gift that I'm sure others will love. Definitely recommend.
