Installs in less than an hour. I have a Costco motorized sit/stand desk. I was a little concerned that since my table has a glass top it would have problems, maybe even breaking the glass, but at the base it distributes the weight very well over a large area so it doesn't exert too much pressure , the monitors are solid. . Under the table just tighten the tension in your table, no holes are required and it holds up well. Please note that there are TWO round clips under the table to make it more stable and distribute the weight. The bar under the Costco table is not wide enough to support the entire clamp circle. So make sure you center them properly and you'll be fine, I promise. I didn't have to adjust the throttle on them, they hold my HP monitors perfectly and I was able to adjust them exactly how I wanted. This device looks SEXY on my black desk. The only complaint is that the cable routing holes are on either side of the plastic cover, probably for convenience if you want to route it through the front, but from an aesthetic point of view I'd rather just have the holes on the back.
