We decided to upgrade to a larger TV and the original cover no longer fitted. We checked out this one, which was half the price of the other, and decided to give it a try. This review essentially compares the two. Here are the advantages of the first cover. It is very easy to put on. Throw over the top, close the bottom and you're done. This takes a little longer to put on and take off with all the Velcro. The first material is a nice heavy material and the inner lining is a softer material. It's just a medium-sized canvas-like material. The price is decisive for the purchase. It's a lot thinner than our first case. We recently had almost a week of rain and when I opened the new TV it was completely dry! That was great. We love the outside pocket that we can put both the wired remote and TV remote in. It fits well and the light gray color is great. Time will tell how it holds up.
