I use it on the back of my RV and love it! This rack is perfectly rebuilt to be STRONG! I used other racks and was always on guard because I could see (through the rear camera) the bikes shuffling around as they traveled down the road. One even stood on the tongue bent. No, the shelf wasn't overloaded. Simply put, bikes don't move on this carrier. It might not have all the bells and whistles that premium luggage racks have (e.g. built-in locking cable, quick folding and unfolding, rubber tire straps, hitch locking bolts). etc.), but for the price and quality, you can't beat this rack. Another advantage is that if you only take one or two bikes with you, you just leave the other part at home. Premium racks cost $$$$ for a base 2 bike rack and an additional $$$$ for an additional 2 bike rack. It comes with a basic rack AND an additional rack for almost HALF the price of a premium branded 2 bike rack.
